Magical Dust
Today, Teagen
brought her book, "Fairy Fun"
by Marla Schram Schwartz,
and all the
ingredients to make the most magical
fairy dust.
"Carefully mix any or all of the things.
When you feel love and kindness in your heart
you know your fairy
dust is done.
To use your fairy dust, take a tiny pinch and hold
it over your heart
, close your eyes and make a wish,
Finish your wish by sprinkling
the dust around
you and thanking the fairies for their help."
"The chances of your
dreams becoming real are
good if you wish by day and dream by night.
To help you make the best wish possible,
here are the five most important
rules of
wish making.
1.
Say your wish silently.
2. Say your wish three
times to add to
its power.
3. Once you've made your wish, try
to remain.
absolutely still for
a minute while
you close your eyes and think
about your wish.
4. Never tell your wish after you make
it, or it
will disappear.
5. To make sure your wish doesn't
miss, always seal it with a
fairy
kiss." |
First we had to go behind my yard, to get some pure
white sand. We
didn't need very much, we had to
carefully skim it off the top, for
the layer under the
white sand is grey.
Now we have the white sand, it is time to add
some
color to it, we chose green, orange, and blue,
we already had
purple. Teagen put drops of
food coloring into the sand and stirred.
See the magic?
After mixing the color we spread
the sand
out on paper, and let the sun dry it.

When our sand was dry, we added
glitter, dried flowers,
and sequins. We held it to our hearts, then
we put it in
jars and little bags, for Teags mom n dad, and a few
of her friends, of course ama got one too.
We took some of our magical dust, to the woods and
made some fairy
rings for mother nature.

I hope you enjoyed our magical
day too.
Hugs
Teagen and ama
